Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the Way

Wow!! What a fun challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge this week:

"Jingle All the Way!" Make a card, LO or craft project using a stamped, digital stamp or Cricut cut image of Jingle Bells. Use any colors you'd like.

I have been busy the last couple of weeks making these sour cream containers for family and friends.  Many of them will be going out to California and to the nursing home where LeRoy's mom is at.  I always try to do something special for the residents every holiday.  I have made about 110 of them to now and have about 30 more to go yet.    I made this special for the challenge this week.  It is a bit larger then the others I made them with a 4x6 paper and I used a 5x7 for this one.

Here is my project:

I used a digi stamp that I got from Diane's Digital Design.
I colored the digi with my gel pens.
The gold circle is cut at 3 &3/4 inches the blue with white is cut at 4 inches.  I used the cut on Mini Monograms.
I then added the ribbon that came from the Dollar store.  They really have some cute ribbons this year and you get 9 feet for only a dollar.
The containers are filled with different varieties of Hersery Kisses, Lifesavers, other chocolates, and stickers.\
Then the front and be reused as a Holiday decoration.
They turned out so well.

So I hope to see your fun project or great card at Paper Cutz Challenge.

Paper Cutz Challenge #116

Hello  Crafters,

What a great challenge this week at PCC, where I am so fortunately to be on the DT with some extremely talented crafters.   And a leader ,Mary,  who is the best.
The challenge this week is:  "Let's Talk Turkey!" Make a card, LO or craft project for Thanksgiving, using a stamped, digital stamp or Cricut cut image of a Turkey . Use any colors you'd like.

For this weeks challenge I started making a paper bag mini album.  Which is something new for me.  So I am learning as I make this album which I plan on sending to my Hubby's biological mother that we met just a few years ago.  I am hoping to learn more their Thanksgiving traditions.  I am using one section of the album for my challenge this week.

Here is my challenge project:

I use paper that my niece Bree had given me.  She is go great at picking out wonderful and cool papers.
I used the cartridge From My Kitchen for the loaf of bread, the pie and the salt and pepper shaker.
The turkey is from the cartridge Doddle charms.
There is a pull out to put one of her favorite recipes on.

This is a pic of one of the inserts for additional pictures or more recipes.
I am hoping that the more I make of these albums the better they get.  If you have anything to add to help me along the way please let me know.  I am always open for advise.

This was a fun and challenging challenge for me.  But I am trying to work more outside my comfort area and learn more new fun way to express my craftiness.

I hope to see your projects this week at Paper Cutz Challlenge

Faith's 3rd Birthday Treat Bags

I made these for my granddaughter 3rd birthday party.  Her theme was My Little Kitty and Halloween.  She love these treat bags that I made for her.

I use the Cricut Hello Kitty cartridge to make all the characters on the tags.
The witch and cat were cut at 3 inches.
The bat and pumpkins were for the boys and cut at 1 3/4 inches.
I stamped Happy Birthday with SU  ink: then trimmed around with Fiskar decorated scissors and inked around them with the same pink as the stamp.
The back banner was DCWV Halloween card stock cut at 4 x 51/2 inches.
The bags were filled with toys and candy.

These turned out so cute and Faith loved them.  But they sure had lots of pieces to put together.  But the smile on her face made it all worth it.

Paper Cutz Challenge

Good Morning Talented Crafty Friends,

Wow does Paper Cutz Challenge have a great challenge this week and for even a better cause.  Breast cancer awareness is something every women should be aware of and get there yearly mammograms.  Early detection is the key to curing the disease.

This week the challenge at PCC is:  "In the Pink" As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so to help promote this worthy cause, let's make a card, LO or craft project for Breast Cancer Awareness month using PINK and any other colors you'd like.

This week I made a layout for the challenge.

Here is some closer photos of the great digis that I used.

I got this digi from Little Scraps of Heaven isn't he the cutest little way to think pink  I cut some black paper and layered it some bright pink and used my Fiskar corner punch to accent the paper.

From the first time that I seen this digi I knew I had to use it.  She is great for getting the message out.  To Save the Boobies.  I got this great digi from Jen's Digi Stamps.  I colored her with my gel pens and I use pink embossing to accent the sign.  I also use black and pink paper to help make it stand out.

I cut the word survivor from the cartridge Printing Press at 1.40inches.  The picture holders are cut at 3 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The corners are punched with a punch that will allow the pic to slide in under them.  I cut the tag from so bright green paper and add the pink ribbon with all the colors in the page.  I think it turned out great and cute.

Thanks for checking out my blog and I hope to see your project in our challenge this week at Paper Cutz Challenge

Have a fabulous day.

Paper Cutz Challenge #108

Good Morning All:

The weather here in Illinois is beautiful this morning.  Some rain earlier but not nice and cool and a bit cloudy.  Great weather for camping.  But not camping this weekend.  Spending the weekend at home resting, crafting and enjoying grandbabies.

This weeks challenge at PCC is:  "Going to the Pumpkin Patch" Make a card, LO or craft project for Fall using Cricut cut, hand stamped, or digital stamped pumpkins, and any colors you’d like!

I had a great time looking through all the pumpkins that I have on cricut, stamps, and digi's and I settled on this one from the cartridge Mini Monsters.  I just got this cart. and loving it.  This pumpkin sure made me smile.  I cut it at 3 1/2 inches.
The stamp was one that I got from Joann's.  Then I added the four small jewels on each corner of the cut  which I used a corner punch on a rectangle piece of paper.
All the papers that I used were from DCWV.  Which is the biggest part on my collection.
I added stickles to the word smile.
The ribbon is one I got from a ribbon swap I participated in last year.

Here is my card:

Hope you all come and join us at Paper Cutz Challenge this week.  Would love to see your projects.
