Surgery Over

Back home from surgery today the Doctor removed a bone spur from my heel for the next two days I cannot put any weight on it and then I will be off work for 4 to 6 weeks.  After the first two days I have lots of plans to scrap, scrap, scrap and get lots of things done in my craft room.  Plus get some crocheting done also.  So I hope to have lots to show all my scrapping friends in the coming weeks.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the Way

Wow!! What a fun challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge this week:

"Jingle All the Way!" Make a card, LO or craft project using a stamped, digital stamp or Cricut cut image of Jingle Bells. Use any colors you'd like.

I have been busy the last couple of weeks making these sour cream containers for family and friends.  Many of them will be going out to California and to the nursing home where LeRoy's mom is at.  I always try to do something special for the residents every holiday.  I have made about 110 of them to now and have about 30 more to go yet.    I made this special for the challenge this week.  It is a bit larger then the others I made them with a 4x6 paper and I used a 5x7 for this one.

Here is my project:

I used a digi stamp that I got from Diane's Digital Design.
I colored the digi with my gel pens.
The gold circle is cut at 3 &3/4 inches the blue with white is cut at 4 inches.  I used the cut on Mini Monograms.
I then added the ribbon that came from the Dollar store.  They really have some cute ribbons this year and you get 9 feet for only a dollar.
The containers are filled with different varieties of Hersery Kisses, Lifesavers, other chocolates, and stickers.\
Then the front and be reused as a Holiday decoration.
They turned out so well.

So I hope to see your fun project or great card at Paper Cutz Challenge.
