Just A Scrappin' Challenge # 3

Hi Crafters:

This week at Just A Scrappin' the challenge is "Hop into Easter" Please create an Easter themed project (home decor, tags, albums, baskets, etc.) using any colors or cartridges of your choice. 

For this weeks Challenge I made these:

I use a couple of cartridges.  I use the Celebrate with Florish for the top bunny and Create a Critter for the other bunny and the sheep.  They are each cut at 2 1/2 inches.

I added the Happy Easter by printing them on the computer then inking around them.

The happy easter to you is from stamp that I have.

The bags are filled with candy and some small treats.

Challenge #2 Just A Scrappin'

Hi Scrappers,

Here is my card for the Just A Scrappin' blog challenge.  The challenge this week is "The Luck of the Irish" in honor of St. Patrick's Day (March 17).  Create a card or layout using a banner element and the color green. You may use any additional colors or cartridge of your choice.


I made my banner with three different stamps.  One is a shamrock, the other says Happy St. Patricks Day and the third has Mar. 17th on it.  They are strung on a piece of wire that I curled and flatten on the page.  I use gold embossing powder for all the stamped images.  Added a ribbon and a button.  The shamrock paper is from recollection and the others are from my stash.  My card is a 4 5/8 x 6 3/4 card.

First DT Post for Just a Scrappin

Hi All,

This is the first challenge for the Just a Scrappin DT.  I hope that you all join us for this challenge. 

The challenge is to make a card using a cut out or frame.                Here is an example:

For my card I made a card with a frame.

 I cut the frame out with a 1 inch border around it.  I used paper from DCWV.  The butterfly is from some stickers that was in my stash.  Then added some foe stitching in black around the outside, white around the middle and to show the butterfly flying.  The flowers on the corners are beads with pearls glued in the centers.  There is black pearls on each corner.  Then I sprayed with purple glimmer mist and with some glitter mist that I made.  The thank you is some bubble letter stickers from my stash.

This is the inside of the card that is glimmer misted also.  Then added another sticker.

Keep an eye out I will be doing a HOW TO section every couple of weeks for the DT.  Next week I will be sharing how I make my own Pop dots so be sure to check it out.
